2011 was the year Phil should have turned 30.

Instead it will be the year the Brayley's go running... and hopefully raise some money for a good cause in his memory.

Janet will be entering three 10k races and Helen and Jayne will be entering three half marathon races. Nan will also be making race day appearances as the resident cheerleader, worth a donation in itself, and once Alan can be convinced it was his idea he will probably be joining in the runs as well! So, if you fancy dusting off your running shoes then please join us, the more the merrier!

The three 10k races have yet to be decided upon (any suggestions gratefully received!) but Helen and Jayne will be entering the following:

  • 6th March: Bath Half (Helen's university)
  • 8th May: Sheffield Half (Jayne's university)
  • October (date to be announced): Cardiff Half (Phil's university)
All money raised will go to Children of the Andes (COTA),  a charity that the family has supported since Phil died in 2006. Their aim is to make life better for vulnerable children in Columbia by offering them support, healthcare and education.

For more information go to: http://www.childrenoftheandes.org/index.php.

Any donations are gratefully received and if you pay UK tax then please opt for Gift Aid as this costs you nothing but allows COTA to claim extra money from the government.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and for offering your support!
